1992 Guess Blue Denim Back Pack

I have a bag I have been using since my collage days. Now that I am already 34 years old, I am still using it. It has been with me for 18 years now and it still looks great. The bag is called the 1992 Guess Blue Denim Back Pack. It is easy to recognize since there is no other blue denim back pack from Guess Jeans in 1992. It is nice looking the design is for teen agers and I like it a lot. Even my cousins like it too. 

One way of knowing if you purchased a good high quality bag is through its zippers. It must be really really durable. And this one is unbelievably tough, most bags zippers would just easily loose out of track. But this one is still working good and still looking really tough. I should say I like this very much and in my opinion, this bag is way ahead from other brands or from other of Guess’ back pack bags line up. I know this because my brother got other Guess’ back pack and my bag, this bag outlasted his. It is not that I seldom use it, well, I use it every day in college for 5 straight years. Or maybe my brother is using his bag like soldiers do in a war, I do not know but I think not really it is just that mine is tougher.

Best assets:

It is tough and durable, but now that it is over 18 years old, it starts to wear out. The inside wrapper starts to tip off piece by piece like corn flakes. I hate this part but I do not hate the bag, not at all. Yes, nothing lasts forever no matter what material it is made of. Another thing that I love from this bag is its simplicity, one logo and that is it. When you look at it you can appreciate it because there is not much unnecessary designs, pure and simple I should say. And the color, it is blue with oval gray so I think this bag is sincere of being simple and elegant. Nice looking and simple but toughness is the game. A wash and dry bag, the color looks like it is still new there is not much fading through the years. I wonder how they made this. I wish all bags are made this way or near like this. 

But well, not the price, at more than $120 dollars at that time it is very expensive for a poor guy like me. The good thing is it was only given to me, lucky boy at that time. But my way of buying is that I do not usually buy products which are not satisfactory to me, well, almost. And I am proud to say that this 1992 Guess Back Pack is satisfactory. One of the few things I got that I love so much.

Verdict:

 I am not a big fan of Guess but for this one, I render them a thumbs up. And in the future if I ever would buy a bag this expensive, I would still buy one like this if it is still available in the market or even a second hand one would do, I think I would not hesitate to buy. I am satisfied, great job Guess Jeans at least, and make more like this.
